IMF 2014 is happy to announce Eoghan Casey as Key Note Speaker (May 12th)
Eoghan Casey is an internationally recognized expert in data breach investigations. He wrote the foundational book
Digital Evidence and Computer Crime, and created Smartphone Forensics courses taught worldwide. For over a decade, he has dedicated himself to advancing the practice of incident handling and digital forensics. He has worked as R&D Team Lead in the Defense Cyber Crime Institute (DCCI) at the Department of Defense Cyber Crime Center (DC3) helping enhance their operational capabilities and develop new techniques and tools. He has testified in civil and criminal cases, and has submitted expert reports and prepared trial exhibits for computer forensic and cyber-crime cases. He has conducted research and taught graduate students at Johns Hopkins University Information Security Institute, has coauthored several advanced technical books including Malware Forensics, and is Editor-in-Chief of Digital Investigation: The International Journal of Digital Forensics and Incident Response.
